Spartan Gold is an adventurous book by Clive Cussler, who is an expert in telling the thrilling and adventurous encounters of its characters in a very commanding manner. The book is narrated in the pleasing voice of Scott Brick, which is another plus about this audio book and makes it a must listening one affair.
The story is about the murders in El Salvador of United Nation’s team scientists. A few other violent events takes place within no time space, such as a deadly collision in the city of Detroit in the waterways and also an attack on an archaeological site by tomb raiders right along the bank of River Nile.
The investigators in the story tried to find a link between these deadly events happened in a very short span of time. A very vital clue pointed towards the tale of an Egyptian princess who was brutally forced to flee the army of her father a little more than 3000 years ago.
Initially it looked to be a normal routine investigation but international connections made it a completely different affair and made things hard to connect for Dirk Pitt. The main challenge was that the mystery may threaten everyone and also everything that he knows about.
The main threat he felt was for his own family who lives he assumed were in serious danger. Dirk Pitt travels to Scotland to get to the bottom of the mystery.
