Benny Catspaw’s perpetually sunny disposition falters when he’s fired, dumped, and defamed – yet he’s no paranoid. Someone truly is out to get this nice guy, though the reason eludes. Salvation comes via an inheritance from an unknown uncle: a giant crate and video message promising all will be well in time.
Yet the crate’s contents prove stranger still – a seven-foot “bad weather friend” named Spike, a self-declared guardian for folks too virtuous for this world. Spike vows to ID Benny’s enemies and handle them. Benny might welcome vigilantism if Spike weren’t so intimidating with his ruthless tactics.
