The Deal novel is narrated by Christian Fox and Lorelei Avalon. It was smart to choose male and female narrators for audio performance but somehow it didn’t work this time. The performance lacked energy and had issues with accent and expression.
Hannah Wells after a lot of struggle has found someone who could turn her on. She might be self-reliant in almost every other part of her life but she is hauling around a full set of baggage when it comes to seduction and sex stuff. If she wants to get the attention of her crush she needs to move out of her comfort zone and try every bit to make him take notice of her existence. She must do it even if it requires tutoring the annoying, cocky, childish captain of the hockey team. This was all meant in exchange for a make-believe date.
Garrett Graham always wanted to play hockey at a professional level after his graduation but his plummeting GPA is threatening his dreams. If facilitating a cynical brunette to make another guy jealous then this would eventually help him in getting a position in the hockey team.
The story of this novel is awesome with lots of exciting twists and turns. The narration was below average and turned out to be quite frustrating.
