The Russian Romanov dynasty is the main thing under discussion as Cliver Cussler and Robin Burcell join hands for the ninth part of the “Sam and Remi Fargo adventure series”. The series joins with historic details of the Russian empire.
It was 1918 when a heavy ransom was paid in order to free the Romanovs but they died in the process and the ransom was never found. Some people think that the amount of ransom was lost forever other thought that the Nazi’s got away with it. Thus at the end of the Second World War the chapter was closed forever.
Now the couple reopens the case as they notice several kidnappings that provide them ample clues to get on with their mission.
It’s history which they had to correct in the first place and secondly they are bound to catch the Nazi descendants who call themselves as the Werewolves in the present era. The Werewolves have a plan that can start another war all over the world and that plan can only be executed by the ransom they got in Romanovs issue.
The first step they take is to get the money trail of such a big treasure that can launch terror in the world. After that they try to evacuate the band forever. It is less fiction this time unlike The Kingdom, and The Mayan Secrets as those books were full of fantasies that are connected to our imaginations alone.
Scott Brick’s cool and calm voice provides a good touch to this novel that appears to be historical as well. The dates are exact and the name of the places is also taken from history books for this novel.
