Author Andrew Rowe and narrator Nick Podehl have produced classic stories together in the past and they are really famous for their fantasies. Corin faced many problems initially, and although he stood strong, still it does not mean that the troubles are over. Many lives have been lost in the process and there are dangers looming on all sides.
Corin’s issues with his family are becoming more and more serious and he thinks that he has to wait and think about the whole thing for a while otherwise he would be wandering in darkness. Like The Awakening and Blood Magick the friends of the main character are also in trouble.
Surviving a second year at Lorian Heights might not be easy. There are new tasks ahead and working under the new chancellor is not a lot of fun. The enemies have planned perfectly now and they are not going to lose the battle a second time. Corin and his allies think that the only way to solve the issue is to reach the root cause of the matter.
They cannot stop everything from happening as long as they get to the real person who is behind the entire game. During this hide and seek, the pressure is mounting on these young heroes. They cannot allow everything to continue in the same version, the dangers are threatening other students of the institute which is another sad news for everyone. No one is ready for the enemy which is about to come out from behind the veil but sooner or later they have to do it or things will slip out of control.
