Author Andrew Rowe and narrator Nick Podehl have produced classic stories together in the past and they are really famous for their fantasies. Corin faced many problems initially, and although he stood strong, still it does not mean that the troubles are over. Many lives have been lost in the process and there are dangers looming on all sides.
Corin’s issues with his family are becoming more and more serious and he thinks that he has to wait and think about the whole thing for a while otherwise he would be wandering in darkness. Like The Awakening and Blood Magick the friends of the main character are also in trouble.

They cannot allow everything to continue in the same version, the dangers are threatening other students of the institute which is another sad news for everyone. No one is ready for the enemy which is about to come out from behind the veil but sooner or later they have to do it or things will slip out of control.
