    Theodore Roosevelt, Book 2

Edmund Morris once again makes us delve into American history by providing us the second part in the biography of Theodore Roosevelt who has been a major figure in American history.

The narrator is Jonathan Marosz this time who keeps the same tone that the narrator of the first part kept so that the listeners don’t feel disturbed because of the narration. Though a hundred years have passed but the writer is of the view that the American nation never had such a corruption fighting machine before him. Theodore had the ability to fight against the acts of terrorism as well.

    Theodore Rex

He was the youngest chief executive of his time and still possessed the energy and the heroic figure to rally the people around his goal. He fought almost all kind of evil whether it was the issue of racism or the issue related to the construction of the Panama Canal.

In the first part The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt the writer tells us about Theodore’s birth and initial life thus the professional life was not discussed in that much detail. This one is loaded with all the heroic works that Theodore did along with some information about his magnetic personality.

    Theodore Rex

He became an international figure when he won the Noble Prize on the issue of the Panama Canal, he also started the conservation work which gave him more fame than anything else that he did or achieved in his life. The writer has not tried to over exaggerate the biography which was the right thing to do that’s why we don’t listen to any heroic speeches that can make us over sentimental.
