Caroline Mitchell starts the series A DA Amy Winter Thriller by the description of Amy winter who is the daughter of a serial killer but now has nothing to do with her father’s ill-doings, she has adopted the profession of a detective and now tries to save other people from the people or predators like her father.
The writer has other books like The Secret Child and Death Note in stock as well that can show the way Carloine writes and what sort of people the writer wants to introduce into her novels all the time.
At the start of the story, Amy thinks that his father was a respectable police officer but then she is told by a call from prison that her father and mother were a serial killer and at the same time psychopaths that killed three girls and now they were ready to tell the places where the girls were buried.
Amy must find the bodies of those girls so that the truth can be revealed, at the same time a fellow detective of Amy investigates the case of a girl taken away from her parent years ago. Another thing that is revealed to Amy is the address of biological mother and thus her parents were never her parents in the fast place.
The story is with quite turns and twists and the plot is also a complex one as it contains several subplots as well. The narration goes up and down a bit at the start but later it goes well balanced with the novel and is overall a good one to listen too.
