    About The Two Towers book

Following the first part of the Lord of the Ringsthe Fellowship of the Ring, the second one was also a hit at that time. Four months after the first book was published, on 11 November 1954, J. R. R. Tolkien had the Two Towers launched out.

Though it was not easy for Tolkien and even the publisher, the story of the hobbit’s fantasy adventure was widely known by book lovers all over the world. This is considered as the climax in the timeless classic trilogy.

Yep, Frodo Baggins has to set out for the journey, follow his destiny to destroy the One Ring and prevent Sauron – the evil, from possessing the most powerful ring and ruling Middle-earth. But the brave hobbit could not make it without the fellowship of other hobbits, dwarves, humans and elves.

Continuing the adventure with the Two Towers, Frodo and his companions are in great danger. They lose Gandalf, the wizard. But in the battle between the good and the evil, you have no choice.

Moving forwards is the only chance to rescue all the creatures on earth. What is waiting for Frodo and his fellows ahead in the towers? Let’s explore it in the audiobook of the Two Towers now.

    1. Smeagol is hard to understand. Just the odd word audible. Similarly the battle and action soundtrack drowns the narrative. I love this creation and applaud the narrator but am sad to miss those parts.

    2. Hi, is there any way of downloading these, or listening to them from an app? I cannot find them on Soundcloud… and it is not incredibly user friendly to come back to the webpage from a smart phone! Would love to listen to these in the car!

    3. I am so terrified that these are going to disappear just like they did when I first found them years ago on YouTube. Phil Dragash has done something magnificent with the written word of Tolkien. Thank you TokyBook for keeping these for the listener.

    4. Even after the first book of this story, the experience is always exceptionally good, there is such a deep quality and cure for details and background noises and music, such talented voice actors and their voice effects.
Thanks again for this amazing experience and I’m glad to have chosen these books to listen to, one of the best choices ever.
