Awakened is a horror fiction novel written by James S. Murray and Darren Wearmouth authors’ duo. James S. Murray, one-half of the authors’ duo did the narration of this book in his own peculiar style and with a blessed vocal cord. The book is part 1 of the Awakened series.
The novice subway line of New York is eventually ready after several years of waiting. This line runs an express train connecting the New York City with Hudson River area and its surrounding burgeoning communities. The best part of this subway line is the epic visitors’ pavilion, which is situated just beneath the Hudson River. The inaugural of this subway line had the presence of the President of United States and city mayor of New York as well.
The gleaming shiny silver cars were a sight to watch, right underneath the bright lights coming from the ceiling of the station. But just as the train approaches the station, a totally different and a horrific scene became obvious. All the train cars were completely empty. Only thing that could be seen inside was blood.
It was a very panicking situation at the station. But as the chaos gradually decreased, everyone in the visitors’ pavilion tried to get out of the station. But, it was just the beginning of the horror. Deadly methane was filled all inside the tunnels and the structure of the situation began to flood all of a sudden.
The Brink is another good novel by James S. Murray and Darren Wearmouth. If you like Awakened, then The Brink would be your automatic choice as it is also a well written and well narrated horror fiction.
