A real spooky mystery not recommended for kids under eight but is a delight for the rest, full of turns, twists and CIA operations. J. C. Fields became a public figure because of the master piece that the author produced in the form of The Sean Kruger Series Complete Boxed Set and after that was The Cold Trail.
Those who liked those books should tighten their seat belts because the operation of the retired CIA officer Michael Wolfe is a lot more. Though all the connections after retirement are lost but the man is not an atom of it different in a mission that he used to be in youth. Wolfe possesses all the skills and a nose for threats, he can sniff danger from a long distance but this time the enemy is far more complicated.
Nadia Picard the ex-girlfriend of Wolfe was with him in Spain when an old enemy tries to get rid of them in a single blow. Wolfe is not the sort who runs away from danger; he wants to know who is behind the campaign against the two.
After getting the answer to the word “Who”, he would be able to raise the second word “Why”. Why someone wants the ex CIA operator and his ex dead at the same time, it is quite possible that an old enmity could excite such a spark but what if it is far more serious. Wolfe comes to his old property not for hiding but for the preparation of war that he knows is upon him. Paul J. McSorley’s voice needs a little more severity as it is simple and does not blend accurately with the scenes but the words are complete and correctly pronounced so no issue in that.
