Writing for kids has always been a tough job for the writers because you got to write according to mind of the kid and should keep in mind what they demand. Factual things never appeal to them too much as they like to live in their imaginary world all the time where everything happens according to their will.
This too is a fiction by R.L. Stine who always tries to attract more and more audience and that’s why this time the writer brings fiction to the bed rooms of the little children. Though it was an uphill task for him because he was experimenting with his literature but this is something he likes the most. Monster Blood, Night of the Living Dummy and other books like these are the evidence that he has always tried to do something new.
The stories are rich in fiction and the gives us a dreamy emotion along with sensation as well on few occasions. The stories in this book are a bit scarier for the children and thus we can say that not all the stories in the book are for children, some are for the adults as well. Overall the tales are well told because R.L. Stine has narrated the complete volume himself along with his team and all the work has been done under his sole supervision of the writer. It’s no slowing down after you start this book, its one incident after another and the characters are not painted with extreme care. There are no details about the past life of the characters as writer’s primary motive has always been the enrich fiction material in the story.
