When is the next book coming out and how many are left? Because wow this book had me laughing out loud, feeling genuinely sad for certain characters and able to relate to others
I saw online that people were upset about some of the mental world building that took place in this story, I personally wasn’t bothered by this, I feel as though it makes sense for the character to have these things going on in his head.
My only issue is that there was a lot going on and I needed to rewind a couple times to fully understand the plot.
Other than that, these books are getting better and better each time they come out and it saddens me to see the author hesitant to give us longer books, 18 hours is long don’t get me wrong but as a fan of this series, and one who will re-listen to different books in it I wouldn’t mind a longer one.
I just hope more people will give it a chance, and that those who did wouldn’t complain about the art that we’re receiving.
Now, I can’t wait for Rewin to make it back home and B slap this guy who thinks he’s going to take over, this man deserves to be void banded for sure.
Definitely my longest review, and hopefully the author will read it and will help those of are hesitant about this one look at it in a new light.
Great worldbuilding, horrifically bad interpersonal interactions. this book and about half the series as a whole is filler. SPOILER WARNING: ruwen is on the path to being a God, and the people in his life consistently run over him and treat him with an absurd level of disrespect. the main women in the book are tyrannically overbearing and are essentially the same character with no real depth to them. his best friend has kept him over a barrel, giving him debuffs unless he does ridiculous actions that do nothing but inconvenience the MC. I can’t express my disappointment enough with how bad ruwens future looks, even if he wins. he needs new friends who have actual merit as people, not just people who ride his coattails to power while treating him like trash.
Think we could get book 7 and eight?
