Catalyst is 3rd chapter from the epic Breakthrough novel series. It is a mystery thriller with lots of entertaining content for the audience. Michael J. Grumley is the writer of this novel. One big reason to listen to this audio book is Scott Brick, who has given the narration of this book in a flawless manner.

The story is set in 1984, when a doomsday arch got built in Arctic Ocean over a remote island. The purpose of such construction was to preserve the genetic history of the planet in the event of any catastrophe at global level. Now, after a few decades, another vault has been discovered. It got uncovered from a place, which no one was every expecting. And the main problem is that, it is not ours.

The thing more curious and suspicious that the vault is actually what lies inside it. It has millions and millions of seeds. Every seed was with a genetic embryo, which was completely preserved and untouched. No one has any idea that who actually built this. The only thing managed to point out was that it has traveled an unimaginably long distance. The intention behind this apparently looks like to hide the genetic blueprints on the planet Earth. But the main question is: Why?

Some navy investigators and a group of marine biologists had their task cut out to find out the reason behind this and that too before anyone else.

Leap and Mosaic area couple of other novels written by Michael J. Grumley. Both these chapters are from the Breakthrough novel series and have done well for the overall success of the series and the author as well.
