It was not really about the colorful residents of the place who knew anything about the actual New York. But it was the case only until Rad Bradley, the detective made a startling discovery that would go on to change the lives for good of all of its inhabitants.
Adam Christopher, the author of this novel has spun a fast-paced and smart superhero-noir story. The story of Empire State is a wonderful mix of villains, superheroes, and then film noir detective stories. It will surely satisfy your desire for science fiction along with quite a decent plot.
