This is the official novel of the highly-rated Godzilla movie series. The book is a perfect representation of the movie series with all the characters properly represented like in the movie. Greg Keyes has done a wonderful storytelling job, with exceptional plot development and a good representation of all scenes in the movie. He followed the same writing style as he did in The Infernal City, another high auction packed adventure thriller.

The novel centers on the battle and struggles to survive the menace of mighty Godzilla and other god-sized creatures. It also shows the endless battles between Godzilla and their worst enemy, the three-headed King Ghidorah alongside Rodan and Mothra. As the primeval super mythical species battle for supremacy, the entire existence of humanity is hanging on a cliff.

This book expands the storyline in the real movie, which gives much credence and more meaning to the entire plot of the book. It also elaborated on the activities of the members of the monarch and how they struggle to survive the battles of these god-like creatures.

    Godzilla: King of the Monsters

At some point in the book, the reader/listener is likely to feel tensed out of suspense. There is no clear-cut picture of what is happening next and who is going to be the next victim of the frightening combat going on among the frictional giants.

One good thing about the book is the fact that the writer explained the characters better than in the movies. There are some features of the characters that were added, which was practically non-existent in the movie.

If you’re a Godzilla fan or you like this type of frictional tale about giant monsters, you will absolutely love this book too.
