Alex Roth’s mission has ended apparently, he has all the knowledge about the Mark of the Fool. So he can use it for new paths still all the things are not that much simple. There are complexities that are beyond imagination and they must be understood to resolve the upcoming problems. J.M. Clarke started working on this second part of the series after finishing the first one because this story is bound to get transformed into a trilogy.
Travis Baldree was also excited to narrate this second part of the series. Alex is trying to study and start a normal or peaceful life. Something is stirring in the darkness which will not allow Alex and his sister to rest for some time. The demons are coming out of the dark and they are really behind something special.
The murders have started and the purpose of the evil doer is not clear to anyone. Proper research is needed, without the investigation, nothing will appear on the surface. Alex wants to study and he still hasn’t paid his tuition fee, these matters will not solve the problems which are occurring in his everyday life.
Legends & Lattes is also a good book that can be blended with this one in terms of the progress of the story. The theme is not the same and if you are looking for a similar theme then Crystal Awakening might be the proper one for you. One way or the other, these books are awesome by any means and no one negates the effort of a very good narrator who is attached to this series and is committed to the task.
