Lara is presented as an odd type of girl who used to write letters to boys but never posted them. Perhaps she was shy or she was afraid of the response which could be corrosive as well. In the series, she is confused that whether she loves boys or not. There are so many options open for her but she has to select one lucky guy which makes the decision tough for her.
All of a sudden to zip the lips of the people of the society she tells everyone that Peter was her boyfriend. Together Lara and Peter started this little drama to pretend in front of the people that they are engaged. They never had any feelings for one another which was a good thing for their relationship.

Here she finally wants to resolve the issues of her life but first, she has to deal with the sudden approach of two boys in her life. Narrated by Ali Ahn the novel can steal the show but not for the kids.
