Then as Lucas Davenport starts arranging the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle the face starts become clear in the mind of the listener as well. Order is there in the stories and nothing goes unarranged or all of a sudden, logical and stepwise upward climb provides the roller coaster effect towards the climax. A joyful ride keeps the mind awake and alert, joined to the series is also the voice of Richard Ferrone who is serving the series quite well.
This book like Broken Prey , Invisible Prey and several other books of the series goes behind an invisible criminal. The man is nowhere to be seen but causing havoc in the city. One murder and then the other bring Lucas to the scene who has been trying to get engaged into the private affairs of his life but getting to time for it. His job has gone bigger since the promotion of his boss and the missions have been stately since.
The murderer leaves to trace but then the clues finally start appearing on the scene in a pattern that horrifies Lucas to the core. There is some resemblance with things that only the master detective knows and he starts hoping that is mind is guessing the wrong thing. The highlight of this book is the women characters that have been portrayed with special words and their personalities are just accurate.
