The narration of this novel is effortlessly done by Gerard Doyle, which kids find highly engaging and enjoyable. The book itself is part 3 of the Septimus Heap novel series from the author, which has many other exciting books for the kids to enjoy as well.
It was the time when Silas Heap managed to unseal a long forgotten room in the palace and soon he actually released the ghost of a queen, who was part of this palace and lived here some 500 years ago. Queen Etheldredda was known to be as awful in her death as much as she was in her life. Still, she isn’t having any good time at all.
Her plan to have an everlasting life for herself needs compliance with Jenna, disappearance of Septimus and the talents of Marcellus Pye, her son. Parcellus Pye was a renowned physician and an alchemist. I case the Queen Etheldredda’s plot is linked with Septimus and Jenna, then that for sure would also connect with the lives of Alther Mella, Nicko, Beetle, Marcia Overstrand, Silas, Sarah, Aunt Zelda, Sanley, Spit Fyre and many of the other whacky and smart characters of the novel.
