Stephanie Plum’s virginity was taken at an early age and then she lost her car and then was about to lose her apartment when she decided finally to fight back for everything. Being a bounty hunter provided her two opportunities in One for the Money: International Edition. Firstly she through this job was able to pay her house rent and secondly, she got the chance to take revenge on the bad guy who made her teenage terrible.
Author Janet Evanovich describes Plum as a much more serious and professional girl in the second episode. She is not suffering from any mental trauma or tension regarding money. Her new job has solved most of her problems but she was not expecting the death of a close friend.
Kenny Mancuso is the boy who shot Plum’s best friend and now she is after him for revenge. Also when she investigates the boy she comes to know that he is related to Stephanie’s old nemesis i.e Joe Morelli. The search becomes more intense after that and before eradicating this target she wants to know the reason behind the killing.
Also, she wants to make sure that she is not after the wrong person, for this she has to leave the personal grudge aside. It is hoped that Three to Get Deadly also narrated by C.J. Critt will break the routine a little and we will listen to a story that is not connected to the personal life of Plum. Not much work is needed on the personality of the main character after this one because she acts totally like a mature professional lady.
