Love and success in life can make you feel that you are in heavens that is the same thing which happens to Jennifer Parker in the novel. Jennifer thought that she was born to win and lead because she never faced any negativity in life. Her career was just perfect and as for her apparent beauty she was dazzling indeed. No man was able to ignore her charm and this made her rise as a defence attorney in a very quick time. There was nothing missing in Jennifer’s perfect life except for the most important thing i.e the right partner.
She wanted to choose the best man for herself and the three options which she had in front of her were with issues of their own. Three men were madly in love with Jennifer, one of them is Adam Warner who just cannot deceive his wife at any cost and this becomes the biggest hindrance in the love life. Though he likes Jennifer but the issues just destroy his personality completely then there is Michael who is ready to give everything for love but the problem is that he happens to be on the wrong side.
Michael leads an entire mafia of his own and this makes him a rival of a defence attorney. Then there is a third and most dangerous one i.e Robert DiSilva who just cannot allow anyone to cross him. This makes Jennifer his biggest rival and he has decided to leave love aside. Sidney Sheldon’s Rage of Angels and Master of the Game had suspense and this novel narrated by Lorelei King has a lot of action. The novel is fast paced and there are a lot of characters on which the listener can pay attention.
