Spending time in reading or listening to the novels written by Douglas Adams is always a safe time investment. This novel is part 4 of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series where one after the author, the author inspired audience with sensational science fiction stories.
Douglas Adams have plenty of other novels that are quite spectacular for their storyline and the strong characters. The Restaurant at the End of the Universe and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy are the novels from Douglas Adams which will never disappoint any science fiction fan.
Martin Freeman gave the narration of this chapter. As expected from him, the audio performance was just next to perfection. It was hard to identify any loopholes where his expression and tonal quality were par excellence.
After getting back to earth with not much to show for his weird trip through space and time, new challenges awaits Arthur Dent. He was of the pinion now that the last 8 years were just a figment of his fully stressed imagination. But, the suspicious disappearance of dolphins on Earth and the discovery of the copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy were all conspiring against him.
Only god knows what this all means. Fortunately enough. He left behind a message of explanation. Finding out the truth would mean to hitch a ride to the far spots of space along with a giant robot.
This novel is favorite one out of 6 chapters for many of the followers who have gone through all parts of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series. The writer has a wonderful way of storytelling, humor and commentary that manages to steal the show.
