Viking Raven and his warrior brotherhood continues in this novel too as Giles Kristian keeps on attracting more and more audiences to the theme. God of Vengeance and Wings of the Storm also have everything which the fans want so desperately these days. Thus these books are like a treasure that everyone wants to keep on his bookshelf. Love, hate, betrayal, and then the fighting heart of a warrior are seen in these novels. Continuity in the story can be another thing that appeals to the listener because the story does not break at any point.
The story moves on and it keeps the personal and professional life of the hero intact. Ealdred has betrayed Raven and his group of heroes. The traitor has done this for the sake of money because soon he is going to sell the holy book to the emperor on his own.
Money is not the objective of the heroes anymore because they want revenge from the one who has deceived them and robbed them too. Ealdred is also not alone, he too has made a pact with another group because he was aware that the group of warriors will come after him and the treasure which he holds in his hands now.
Blood is going to be seen in this episode narrated by Simon Prebble as warriors from both sides are ready to slaughter each other. The bank of the river serves as the battlefield on this occasion and the blood of heroes and their enemies is going to be seen on this battleground. There is more to this story so don’t think that it will conclude here.
