The Girl in the Plain Brown Wrapper is an excellent suspenseful mystery thriller. It is the 10th installment in the Travis McGee novel series which is authored by John D. MacDonald. He was an American writer widely known for writing mystery thriller novels and other short stories as well. Crime and suspense novels were always his specialty. You will be thoroughly entertained through his The Quick Red Fox novel. The same can be expected from his The Deep Blue Good-By novel.

The audio narration of The Girl in the Plain Brown Wrapper novel is done by Robert Petkoff. It was a terrific performance by Robert. He has got the exact voice that the novel of this type and its characters demanded to have.

The Girl in the Plain Brown Wrapper

The story of this novel started with the character of Helena Pearson. She was extremely beautiful and immensely rich as well. She was an incredible wanton and the perfect client that Travis McGee could ever think about. He gave a huge favor to her husband and Helena herself. Then Helena died and Travis discovered that she had requested him one last time. It was a request about Maurie, her daughter, and to find out why she always looks to harm or kill herself. He was initially half convinced that she needed to have a good doctor and a devil. But, still, he set off towards the prosperous Fort Courtney town in Florida to sort out the request or last wish of Helena.

Full marks to the author and narrator of this novel. They both were superb and did everything to grab the attention of the listeners, and they surely succeeded in that.
