The Great Hunt

This book (The Great Hunt) might just be another leaf out of the Wheel series by Robert Jordan, but for the audio book fanatics, it is a sheer blessing. Every minute of this book truly inspires the audience to admire and thank the author for his intellectual and thought provoking writing. Jordan did well to continue with Kate Reading and Michael Kramer duo as narrators as they actually makes you feel that they both belongs to the characters that they are playing.

For a number of centuries, gleeman has been narrating the great stories of The great Hunt of Horn. There are plenty of stories about each of the Hunters involved and then there are a large number of Hunters to tell of. It was just about time that the Horn got found itself. The Horn, which was long awaited was anticipated to raise the dead heroes coming from all eras and ages. And, it gets stolen.

Just as you can imagine about the Wheel of Time series, which this time turns and the ages just come and go. This would create a void and would leave behind only a few memories that eventually becomes a legend. The legend then fades into oblivion or a myth, which gets long forgotten…

The Eye of the World and The Shadow Rising are a couple of his other books, which have inspired not only the veteran book lovers, but also the new entrants in the world of literary. It could be safely said by considering the immense response of the readers, who have all the nice things to say about these books from all aspects including characterization, story-telling, emotion, drama and narration.
