The King is a compelling novella of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. It is one of the finest pieces of writing that you would see from J. R. Ward. This novel is part 2 of The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series and has got a lot to offer to the romantic fantasy enthusiasts. Jim Frangione got the task of narrating this novel and he was able to make it sound really god with some apt expression.
Where Winter Finds You is another marvelous attempt by J. R. Ward as a writer, which helped him make a good fan base. On top of that, The Sinner is another novel by the author that is worth mentioning here.
Wrath, the King finally got the opportunity to take on the place of his father’s mantle. This was possible after centuries of refusing the throne and then with the help of his dear friend. However, the crown came to him with a hefty price. As the war raged on with the Lessening Society, he was pushed to a point to make some risky choices. The decisions taken were also influenced by the threat coming from the Band of Bastards. Some really big risks were looming over the head of everyone.
Beth Randall was of the opinion that she knew that what she is choosing for herself when she mated with the last of the vampires with pure blood. She however was shocked with Wrath’s choice when she wanted to have a child. It created some really huge distance between them.
So, will the true love able to win and get to its destination? Or, it will be the tortured legacy again to take the charge?
