The Merchant of Death is a book from the folk tales & myths category. It is the first installment in the Pendragon novel series which is written by D. J. MacHale. He is an American executive producer, director, and writer. He has been affiliated with many popular shows such as Seasonal Differences and Flight 29 Down etc. In literary writing, The Lost City of Faar is an amazing novel by the author. Apart from this The Pilgrims of Rayne also did quite well for the author.
The Merchant of Death is narrated by William Dufris. As long as the vocal excitement with the tonal variety is concerned, William Dufris was quite good. But, there was a whine factor in his narration style as well.
Bobby was quite a normal 14 years old boy. He had a home, a family, and Marley, who was his friendly dog. But, there was something extremely weird about Bobby.
He was the one who will save the world. And it wouldn’t only be Earth. He started to realize that life in the cosmos wasn’t the way that he thought it to be. Before he could object to it he has swept far away to a different dimension. It was Denduron, a place that was occupied by a lot of outlandish creatures. It was ruled by a mystic tyrant and it was also plagued with dangerous revolution.
If Bobby was serious about seeing his home and family again then he had to wholeheartedly accept his role as a savior. Denduron was only the start of his challenges and he was about to discover that soon.
This is a lovely book from a lovely series which you will probably listen to more than once.
