I’m don’t know whether I’m anxious to get this series done because it’s kind of dragging out or anxious because I’ll loose my friends. The detail is great on some levels and I need to fast forward on others. Don’t want to give out spoilers, but this book (day) was tough. Didn’t like where it went or ended, at all. I’m intrigued by the aspect of finding out more about the origins of the virus. Except, for the annoying little boy, Joe does pretty well on the new characters. I am enjoying the English pronunciation of words like vitamins. The voice of Dave still bothers me.

I still prefer Dan Morgan, as the narrator of this series, but I’m starting to get used to this one.

I’ve read only one other zombie series, which I like more than this one and that’s “All Dead”. This author is an excellent story teller and adds details where they’re needed and drops the ones, which aren’t. This is a supremely easy listen and has a ton of real-life-like moments, that draw you into the story so that you become invested in the characters and what happens to them.

    The Undead, Part 12

I’ve just restarted this series for the second time because it took years for the current book (#22) to be released as an audiobook and I wanted yo freshen up on the story. I’m hoping that it won’t take so long in the future.
