It has been some time since we have heard about the personal life of Stephanie Plum. The Series started from her personal life that was destroyed because of a lot of trouble makers and most of all her house rent which she was unable to pay. She was in New Jersey in One for the Money: International Edition and Two for the Dough. Later she came to Trenton and started working for her cousin however the work of the bounty hunter remains the same everywhere.
Years have passed and she has developed a lot of feelings for Ranger. Every time she wants to walk one step close to the man she is pushed by the realities about the Ranger. There were truths about the man that she found out in his hideout in the previous parts. Then the female stalker comes especially for Ranger which makes his character suspicious in the eyes of Stephanie.
Confusions in her mind torment her brain but Stephanie continues her journey and Janet Evanovich at this point should have given her a friend to chat with. Every episode makes the main character more isolated and stranded. Comedy is going along with the story well but it is not sufficient, there should be some support given to the isolated bounty hunter. Even her parents are not playing their part rather they are adding more burden of investigations on her. Lorelei King’s narration however has no break or pause in it and it flows like a clear stream. If one has a free weekend then he should go through this book in slow motion to understand the emotions of a girl who is in broken condition.
