It is a triangular sort of love story after a long while, the writers of the modern era usually don’t write this way anymore. It is mostly fiction that comes to the people in form of books; L. J. Shen luckily is keeping the conventional touch alive in so many ways. Francesca Rossi the girl who loves Angelo Bandini is forced to marry Senator Wolfe Keaton because it is better for her and her family.
Though her heart still beats for Angelo and she takes the wedding promises not in the true sense but there is nothing the poor soul can do. Wolfe had Rossi’s father under his thumb, being a senator the man could easily force sinners like Rossi’s father to take decisions according to his will.
The two love birds are separated thus and they consider the senator as a villain but can Rossi deceive her husband and break the wedding promises and prove herself a sinner like her father is the real issue.
The story is not powerful as expected but the love relation and the pangs of separation hold the listeners mind throughout. Stephen Dexter and Savannah Peachwood also have stressed a lot on the depiction of emotions rather than trying to promote the plot or story. Good one over all like Angry God and Pretty Reckless but if someone is looking for a strong message then such thing can’t be earned at any stage. This has been the pattern Shen is following throughout adding more emotions as compared to the story line. There is no planning for revenge just raw love scenes between the two Love Birds that are separated.
