Congratulations on reaching Book 8! As someone eagerly checking out the latest release to see what fellow readers are saying, I’m excited to share my thoughts. No spoilers, I promise. After finishing Book 7, I couldn’t wait any longer and dove headfirst into the remaining 400 or so chapters. The DoTF series has earned its place alongside other epic sagas like One Piece, Naruto, and various novels by Eisanhorn, Ravanor, Bequin, and other talented authors.
JF Brink’s dedication to his story and fans is truly astounding. He even informed us about the early release through Discord, giving me the delightful surprise of a late Christmas present. I rarely write reviews, be it positive or negative, but with a collection of 165 books on my Audible account, this series speaks volumes about its quality as it’s my first gushing review.
I’ve read the content of this book twice already, eagerly anticipating Mr. Proczko’s excellent performance and any refinements made by Jeff during editing. Speaking of the performance, every character’s voice, male and female, is distinct and enjoyable. It’s so good that while reading ahead, I caught myself hearing the voices from this series in my mind. If Pavi reads these reviews, I want to say, “Keep up the fantastic work! You breathe life into the characters, and your progress from Book 1 to Book 8 is remarkable.”
For those who’ve made it this far, it’s evident that you’re passionate about reading. Enjoy the arc that led me to explore Royal Road and even further to Jeff’s actual Patreon. Here’s to the new year and to the anticipation of eight more thrilling books!
