There was one way in and one way out of the vampire world, Sookie went in and then she destroyed the way out. Charlaine Harris in this novel also introduced Hadley’s son, Hadley was Sookie’s cousin who left property for her in Definitely Dead. The boy also has telepathic powers like Sookie and that’s why he gets a good welcome by the narrator Johanna Parker.
