Stephanie Plum goes by the rules all the time and this makes her an excellent team player. Going out alone for a mission is not something that Stephanie likes to do in her professional career. On a Monday morning, Stephanie wasn’t looking for any kind of trouble because there is always hectic work on Monday. When she came to her office she found out that the manager Connie was missing.
Some thought that she was late because of a mishap but Stephanie’s instincts told her that it was not a mishap. Later Connie didn’t show up and the abductor called the office and demanded a coin that was in Connie’s possession somehow. The coin was given to the manager by a client who was murdered quite recently. Stephanie once tries to find the coin but it is nowhere to be seen.
It seems that Connie has hidden the coin somewhere and Stephanie had to find the coin first. Author Janet Evanovich’s favorite character Stephanie forges a team once again. It is Lorelei King who narrates all the incidents of the novel on this occasion because he is the official narrator. Stephanie gathers the team which has Lula, Mazur, Morelli, and Ranger.
The team starts working fast but Stephanie thinks that she should act on her own so she goes rogue instead of following the team pattern this time. One for the Money and Three to Get Deadly is ever green stories and this one stands at the top of the list. No one can say anything against this book because it is designed to perfection by the author and narrator.
