Is it possible for the summer to be a true summer without Cousins Beach? Belly always used to count the days until the summer and until she was back with Jeremiah and Conrad at Cousins Beach. But that was not the case that year, especially not after the time Susannah got sick yet again and then Conrad didn’t bother caring at all. Everything at one time which was right had just fallen apart. That left Belly to think and wish that the summer like that would never come.
But the time when Jeremiah called that Conrad had disappeared then Belly knew what she was supposed to do for making things right again. All of this could only be a possibility back at that Cousins Beach house with all three of them together and the way things always used to be.
This is such an amazing, enjoyable, and emotional book. The feelings delivered will take listeners right back to high school time.
