Sheldon Siegel’s new thriller puts the life of a local cop on the line that kills in front of the public a man in the public square. Everyone heard the shot and found the cop with the gun, the cop never denied the thing but he tells that it was active self defense. But people on the spot don’t believe it because there was no fight or tussle on the spot and thus the police officer was trying to hide the intentional murder behind these lame excuses.
The local attorney is called and Mike and Rosie the two who solved the cases of such kind in Perfect Alibi and Judgment Day quite professionally have another landmark to achieve. They got to have strong clues for the case otherwise the evidence present was enough to send the young cop to jail for a lifetime. The media also creates a hype of the case and the public is also not in a good mode at all.
Mike and Rosie don’t work together now as one is in San Francisco and the other is the head of Felony division. Here Mike comes back to San Francisco for the cop who is his godson and the ex husband and wife finally meet after a longtime. Jones death tape is reanalyzed and though the gun was found under Jones body still there was no use of weapon in the tape.
