The Diamond family got eradicated many times in history but their rein has continued to the present day. There has been a rise and falls in the family and business but each chapter ended with the domination of the cartel in every aspect of the game. The third part throws the whole family in a pit where there is no light and the ladder to climb up has been snatched out of their reach. Carter is still looking for Miamor who is in the stranglehold of the enemy since The Cartel 2: Tale of the Murda Mamas.
No matter how much she has tried she has not been able to free herself and all she can think of is death at the hands of the cruel enemy. The cartel was desperately searching for her and there was a hope that he might come to save her but he has landed in prison too. The headship of the cartel now rests in the hands of Zyir and Mecca who have their skeletons to hide in the closet first.
Soon history comes back to life and the secrets which have been buried for years are revealed bringing shock waves to all the people who belong to the cartel. Breeze is another person who is in a lot of trouble and the solution now depends on the decision of Carter. Ashley and Jaquavis just like the first part The Cartel leave everything at the mercy of Carter’s decision.
If he rises once again the cartel and the Diamond family’s legacy can be saved. When compared with all the other parts of the series Cary Hite’s narration can be called the best in this final chapter. He had all the strings in the firm grip from the first chapter and knew exactly when to raise the volume of his voice and when to change it into a whisper.
