Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen have created wonders over the years by producing stuff like The Wife Between Us and An Anonymous Girl. Action continues in the whole story and nothing is overloaded in any of the parts. The listener gets the feeling that the characters are alive and present in front of the eyes in flesh and blood. Shay Miller in current psychological thriller is a woman in need of help in all respects.
Her personal and professional life is not going well at all, she desires love and relation in life and the more she tries ironically the lonelier she becomes. Her job is worthless with no means to prosper or progress in the future, she cannot quite because she has nothing else to do or rely on. A meeting with the Moore sisters changes everything or provides her the chance she needed in her life. The two sisters are living a life that Shay wanted to live, moving in the social circle and living in the glamorous surroundings all the time.
She wants to get closer to them but then she need to give certain sacrifices that may mean her life even. Barrie Kreinik and Dylan Moore narrate wonderfully giving all the four women proper space and time. Their voices don’t vary much but still we can recognize the shift in the character by the words the women use.
Things don’t look very dangerous though when it approaches to the matter of life and death especially for the poor Shay Miller who can do anything to be in and with the gang. Not advisable for the people who are already tense with their social circles because it would only increase their anxiety level.
