Robin Hobb is a brilliant American writer of fantasy fiction novels. She has got plenty of successful novels to her credit. Some of her best novels include the likes of The Assassin’s Quest and Dragon Keeper. Dragon Haven is the 2nd chapter of The Rain Wild Chronicles trilogy and the 11th part of the Realms of the Elderlings novel series. The author has managed to maintain the standard of her writing despite coming so long in the series. Some fans are following her great work right from the first novel that she published in 1995.
Dragon Haven is a science fiction fantasy novel. Jacqui Crago has done its narration. The performance was disappointing, to say the least. Some of her smacking and sloshing sounds made the entire novel sound a bit frustrating.
The fielding dragons along with the dragon keepers are looking for a passage up the Rain Wild River. They are searching for the mythical Elderling Kelsingra city. They are accompanied by liveship Tarman, Leftrin, its captain, and a team of hunters as well. They are supposed to search the entire forest for a game and through this, they will feed the dragons. Alise is also with them who has run away from her cold marriage with the cruel Hest Finbok so that she could continue with her study of the dragons.
Robin Hobb already has an established repute of being a great author and everything was perfect about the storyline and characters in this novel. However, a performance by Jacqui was below average and this is one area that is a concern if you are planning to go with this novel in your next literary sitting.
