The Last Coyote: Harry Bosch Series, Book 4 is a highly recommended novel where you will find Michael Connelly at his best. On top of that, The Late Show is another worthy novel from the author.
Len Cariou was quite good with the performance and the listeners had a blast with such a classy performance.
Rachel Walling was an FBI agent who finally got the call that she dreaded for so many years. She learned through that call that the Poet has made a return. She worked on that famous case many years ago where she was tracking down a serial killer. He was given the name Poet as he wove poetry lines on all of his hideous crimes. Rachel all those years was not able to forget Robert Backus at all. He was that killer who called himself the Poet. The Poet has also not forgotten Rachel either.
Harry Bosch got that call from the wife of one of his close friends who died not too long ago. The death of his friend appeared to be natural. However, this man was tied with the hunt for the Poet and that was one thing for which Harry Bosch started to dig deep.
The characters and all of their relationships are extremely well drawn by the author while the story is superb as well.
