The series of Tommy and Tuppence starts with the introduction of two men who are frustrated with their lives because they have no satisfaction in life as they are out of money and also out of job as well. They present themselves to others as the people who are willing to do anything for the sake of money and for the satisfaction of their clients who provide them with different tasks.
Each of the parts tells us about their different adventure the first one is, of course, related to a sinister named as Mr. Whittington who pushes them in a job that becomes a threat to their lives as well as the carrier. However tough the job is after each case the heroes emerge as victorious soldiers and more confident than ever in taking the next challenge without any thinking or researching. They recover the pink pearl that first appeared to be an impossible thing but the job was nicely done. Then the two friends move on to the competition or duel with the Nazis.
The more the cases are solved the more their quench for adventure increase and they for the first time in their lives think that they have found something worth living for. Agatha Christie has described the emergence of two characters that make their lives adventuresome by their own efforts and start living in a better way.
There are three narrators in the narration department Alex Jennings, Hugh Fraser, James Warwick and all have done well in describing the tale in the most appropriate manner. The story starts slowly but as soon as the first mission is assigned we start feeling the thrill and our interest never loses after that. Seasons of Horror [1-3] re-up fixed – Dan Simmons and Matthew Bartholomew ~ Books 1-23 – Susanna Gregory are also good reads for story lovers.
