Judy is a girl of Moods and she is happy when she has a good mood and expresses it with all her acts. In this story, Judy works out with drifting moods when she goes through a life-changing event when she gets a math tutor from a College group.
As a fact, Judy doesn’t like doing math a lot and has got many issues going on with her during the math class. She struggles to do mathematical solutions and wants to skip it at once. But when it comes to the substitute teacher who is actually from a college, she has a frustrated mood to see because the tutors want to pay some extra attention to Judy’s math skills. At first, Judy feels confused and stays in a bad mood as she is not sure how she is going to have her math tutoring in future but soon the issues are resolved when she encounters the teacher.
Judy gets a glimpse of the College life as her tutors give her a reason to change like a college student. She becomes confident out of the mood little girl with a new look in her outfit as well. The overall story turns out to be hilarious when an 8-year-old starts following the college style life. But it is really a great adventure for Judy and the Judy Moody readers as well. Megan McDonald has wonderfully described all the characters and the story is written in a smooth, creative and interesting manner which has been narrated by Amy Rubinate in a great way just life the Author did in the Judy Moody Declares Independence (Book 6) and Judy Moody: Around the World in 8 1/2 Days.
